In the midst of revolutions, explorations, and a whole lotta love, came a product that will go down in the history books. It was 1965 when two far-out Americans purchased the rights to the Astro Lamp, changed the name to LAVA?brand motion lamp and first went into production in Chicago with only two color combinations and a dream of oozing into the hearts of Americans.

Thirty-five years later, they are still made in the same city, by the same people, with the same dream - only now there are 150 different color combinations! Haggerty Enterprises, Inc. has sold more of these psychedelic lamps in the '90s than in the '60s, '70s and '80s combined. They have managed to remain the one and only original LAVA?brand manufacturer the entire time. LAVA?brand motion lamps have become a cross-generational item that will never die.
